The Bible Study for Women App is made by Novix Technology Inc., a small software team that has been building Bible study apps since 2018. The App Store rating currently sits at 4.8 across 7,000+ ratings.

Why we built it

A Bible study app can very easily become one more thing demanding your attention — another notification, another streak to keep. We wanted the opposite: something you could open before the house wakes up, read for a few minutes, and close again feeling like you had actually met with God rather than ticked a box.

So the app is free, and there is no schedule to fall behind. You read at your own pace, which means a plan you set down three weeks ago is simply a plan you can pick up again.

The studies are written by people

This matters more every year. The writing in the app is human work — over 400 devotions and guided studies, written and edited rather than generated. You can tell the difference between a paragraph someone meant and a paragraph a machine assembled, and on a morning when you actually need it, that difference is the whole thing.

What we publish on this website

Everything on this site is either public-domain King James scripture, licensed ESV text, or writing we did for the site itself. The devotions and study plans live in the app. That is not a paywall trick; it is simply what the app is for — they are written to be read one morning at a time rather than scrolled through.

Our other apps

Two more, both built the same way by the same team. The Daily Devotional For Women App is the gentler daily companion — a verse and a short devotion rather than a study to work through. The Daily Bread Devotional for Men is the same idea written for men, and may be the one for someone else in your house.
